Troy Kopp left Pacific as the all-time leader in most passing categories at both the school and conference level, leading the run and gun offense known as "Air Pacific."

Kopp holds twelve individual school records and four Big West Conference records, and also holds the top five marks in school history for both passing yards and total offense in the Pacific single game record book. He holds Pacific's pass efficiency records for a single game (242.63), season (151.78), and career (134.85), while also holding the Pacific single-season and career records for completion percentage.

Kopp holds the Pacific and Big West Conference records for passing yardage in a game (564) and in a season (3,767) and is the Tigers all-time leading passer with 10,258 yards. Kopp led the NCAA in touchdown passes in 1991 with 37, the 18th most in NCAA history, while his career total of 87 ranks 12th most in NCAA history. Kopp earned first team All-Big West honors in 1991.
