Tom McCormick played three years of football at Pacific from 1950 to 1952.

McCormick is tied with Dick Bass for second all-time in Pacific history with 31 career rushing touchdowns, and fifth all-time with 188 points scored.

McCormick helped the Tigers rush for 416 yards against Marquette in 1951, a number that ranks 10th on the all-time single-game list. He rushed for 1,001 yards on 191 carries that year, ranking in the top 15 in Pacific history in both categories for a single season.

McCormick, who rushed for 17 touchdowns in 1952, is also tied with Bass for the single-season rushing touchdown total. He scored 109 points that year, second in program history for a single season.

McCormick went on to play 32 games in the NFL after being drafted in the eighth round by the Los Angeles Rams, whose draft class that year also included fellow Tiger Hall-of-Famer Duane Putnam.
