Hall of Fame
Patty Berg-Burnett played three years of volleyball at Pacific under Dr. Taras Liskevych, earning varsity letters in 1977, 1979 and 1980. She won the NCAA Broderick Cup as a senior, given for her leadership abilities, academic excellence and participation in community service.Â
Patty earned AIAW All-American honors in 1980 after leading Pacific to a No. 2 national ranking at the end of the season and in 1989, became the first female athlete in Pacific history to have her number retired. She was also the first UOP women's volleyball student athletic elected to the Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame.
She is also a recipient of the Amos Alonzo Stagg award from Pacific.Â
