Hall of Fame
Don Hall was known as one of Pacific's most successful student-athletes, competing on the UOP football and track teams in 1942 and from 1946-47 after World War II
Hall was a starting center and linebacker for the Tiger football team, coached by Amos Alonzo Stagg. Hall was a team captain of the 1946 squad.
Hall's success grew following his remarkable seasons at Pacific with a blossoming coaching career. He led Delta College to a 26-11-2 record in 1950 as an assistant coach and soon became the head coach at Stockton College from 1954-58. During his four years at the helm of the program, he led Stockton College to three consecutive conference championships (1955-57) and a conference co-championship in 1958, earning an overall record of 33-12-4.
Hall's Stockton College teams were also Potato Bowl Champions in 1956, Olive Bowl Champions in 1957 and Orange Show Bowl Champions in 1958.Â
In 1959 Hall became head football coach at Cerritos College, where he led Cerritos to a Western States Conference title on his way to a 67-22-5 overall mark at the school.
Hall was elevated to athletic director of Cerritos College in 1963 and served in that capacity for 15 years until his retirement in 1978.Â
