Becky Suttmann was a member of four consecutive NCAA Tournament teams for Pacific from 1982 to 1985.

In 1982, Becky helped the Tigers qualify for their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance after leading Pacific to a 36-26 record.

As a sophomore in 1983, Becky was named Second Team All-American after hitting a team-best .347 and leading the Tigers to their lone College World Series appearance. Pacific finished fifth in the country that year with a 42-17-1 record.

The next season, in 1984, Suttmann led the Tigers to a then-team record of 48 wins as Pacific advanced to the NCAA Regionals before falling to Fresno State. Becky had a team-high 66 hits in 1984 and tied Jennae Lambdin for the team lead with a .303 batting average.

Becky led the Tigers back to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year in 1985. Pacific finished the season at 42-24 after falling to UCLA in the Regionals, but Suttman earned First Team All-American honors after leading Pacific with a .329 batting average with 33 stolen bases. She was also honored as the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame's Athlete of the Year for the 1984-85 year.

Suttmann holds two career records at Pacific, amassing 231 career hits and 101 stolen bases in her time at Pacific. She also ranks third with both a .306 career batting average and 237 games played. In addition, Becky is Pacific's single-season record holder with 218 at-bats and currently ranks second with 754 career at-bats.

Prior to her outstanding college career at Pacific, Becky was a member of Team USA during the World Youth Softball Tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Suttmann received her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Pacific in 1985 and returned to complete her master's degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology in 1991. She is currently a research scientist at Roche Bioscience in Palo Alto, California, where she is utilizing cutting edge technology in the search for new targets and markers for arthritis.

Becky and her husband Sheldon MacKenzie, Pacific Class of 1985, live in Redwood City with their two sons, Kyle and Scott.
