Through tireless play and aggressive hustle, he finished his career at number eight on Pacific's all-time scoring list, racking up 1,167 points.

Errecart earned many honors for his intense play and dedication to the UOP men's basketball program, including three consecutive Second Team All-Pacific Coast Athletic Association honors.

During his basketball career at Pacific, John was a teammate of Leonard Armato (Shaquille O'Neal's agent and the UOP single-season assist record-holder), Pat Douglass and John Gianelli. Pacific's second all-time leading scorer and future NBA champion with the New York Knicks.

John graduated from Pacific in 1974 with a degree in Physical Education and was a sixth-round draft choice of the Golden State Warriors. Today, he resides in his native city of Stockton with his wife, Sue, and their three children, Matt, Robin and Chris.
