Shelley Allmendinger-Mahoney is remembered as one of Pacific's most remarkable softball players.

Recognized as one of the top pitchers in the nation, Shelley earned All-America honors as a freshman, leading the Tigers to the school's first-ever appearance in the NCAA College World Series in 1983, where her fastball was clocked at 67 MPH, the fastest of any pitcher at the event. The Tigers finished fifth at the College World Series.

On Pacific's all-time pitching records list, she ranks first in career wins (83), second in career earned run average (0.67), third in career shutouts (13), first in career games played (145), first in career innings pitched (864.1) and fifth in career strikeouts (386).
