An outstanding dual sport athlete, Jack Morrison was inducted into the Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame as a three time letter-winner in both track and football.

Throughout his three-year career at Pacific, Morrison lost only two races in the 100 and 200 yard dashes. He was the first Pacific athlete to qualify for the NCAA University Meet, qualifying in the 100 and 200 yard dashes as well as the 400-relay in 1969.

During his first season on the squad, Morrison won the NCAA College Division Western Regional Meet in the 100-yard dash with a time of 9.5 seconds. He went on to lead his team to its first ever first-place finish at the Westmont Relays in 1968, as he and co-relay runners Gordon Wright, Dave McCann and Ross Cardinalli, set a meet record of 3:30.0 in the sprint relay. That same year, Morrison was among the first of Pacific's runners to qualify to race at the esteemed Mt. San Antonio Relays. He was also an instrumental part of Pacific's first undefeated dual meet season in 1968, helping the Tigers to a win in the Claremont relays and placing fourth as a team at the NCAA College Regional meet during a 9-0-1 season.

Morrison ran his entire senior season in 1969 without losing a single race in the 100 and 200 yard dashes in dual meets. He finished off the season winning the 100-yard dash at the West Coast Relays and becoming a West Coast Athletic Conference Champion.

During his three seasons on the track team, Morrison set five school records in the individual and relay events. He set the record in the 100-yard dash (9.4 seconds - 1969), 200-yard dash (21.1 - 1969), the 400-relay (41.2 - 1969), the 800-relay (1:26.0 - 1969) and the sprint relay (3:26.1 - 1969).

Morrison was also an asset for the Tigers on the football field, averaging 21.3 yards per reception during his three-season career. In 1968, he was honored as the Northern California Back of the Week (University Division) after catching a school record 85-yard pass from Mickey Ackley in a game against Idaho. Following his outstanding career at Pacific, Morrison went on to the professional level, signing as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills.

Morrison was also inducted into Pacific's Hall of Fame in 1994 as part of the 1968-69 track team.
