Dubbed "Mr. Versatile of Football and the Pacific Coast's only "Quadruple Threat Man,", Cecil Disbrow won four basketball letters (one frosh, three varsity), four varsity letters in football and four varsity letters in track. Additionally, he was named captain of the football, track and baseball teams.Â
Called "without a doubt the greatest all-around athlete to enter Pacific," Disbrow was an all-conference fullback in 1927 and 1929 and an honorable mention fullback in 1928.Â
On the basketball court, "Moose" was the Tigers' top scorer in 1928 and 1930.Â
He owned the conference record in track for the shot and javelin in 1928 and was the conference meet high point man in 1927, 1928 and 1930.Â
