Honor Jackson played football at Pacific from 1968 to 1970, ranking 12th nationally in 1970 in yards per catch. He earned All-Pacific Coast Athletic Association honors as a senior in 1970. 

A dual sport athlete in both football and track, Jackson earned the Tigers' Robert E. Burns Award for Excellence of Performance in 1970. Jackson ranks eighth in Pacific history with 1,236 receiving yards in his career, including 931 in 1970.

Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1971 NFL Draft, Jackson went on to play for the New England Patriots (1972-73) and the New York Giants (1973-74).
