Bud Proulx was a three-year star on Pacific's men's basketball squad from 1946 to 1949.
After leading Pacific to an undefeated California Collegiate Athletic Association title in 1946, Proulx averaged 10.4 points per game the next season with a season-high 24 points against Fresno State.
He was one of three Tigers to earn Second Team All-CCAA honors in 1949, averaging 11.6 points per contest and winning team MVP.
Proulx went on to coach championship football and basketball at the high school and junior high level. Overall, his coaching career amassed 24 seasons of football, 23 seasons of tennis, 11 years of basketball and four years of track.
