Dr. Glen Albaugh coached the Pacific men's golf team for 20 years from 1971-92 while also serving as a professor in the University's department of sport sciences. Over his 20-year coaching career, he guided the Tigers to a total of six NCAA postseason team appearances, including NCAA Finals bids in 1980 and 1983. In addition, the Tigers were individually represented in NCAA postseason play consistently throughout Albaugh's tenure.

Albaugh led the Tigers to top-25 national rankings four times during a five-year span from 1979-84. He coached nine All-Americans and three Academic All-Americans in addition to countless individual top-10 finishers and tournament medalists.

Since 1992, Albaugh has been a sports psychology consultant, working with numerous professional and amateur golfers. In addition, he continues to consult with Pacific coaches and student-athletes. Following the conclusion of his coaching career in 1992, Albaugh continued to serve as a professor in Pacific's department of sport sciences until 1999.
