Buck led the 1950 Tigers to a 7-3-1 record before helping Pacific to back-to-back Sun Bowl appearances in 1951-52.

A second-round pick of the New York Giants in 1954, and a 1953 All-American, Buck is tied for fourth with 12 career touchdown receptions and ranks in the top 15 in Pacific history with 82 total receptions and 1,124 receiving yards.
