Robert "Bob" Eberhardt was the director of the Bank of Stockton from 1963 up until his death in 1994. A 1951 graduate of the University of the Pacific, Eberhardt followed in his father's footsteps and took hold as the President of the Bank of Stockton and Chair of the Board of Regents, a position he held from 1975 to 1993.

Under his tutelage, Pacific was transformed from a small liberal arts college to a full-on university. Also at Pacific, Eberhardt saw time on the football field under the great Amos Alonzo Stagg in the 1940s.

The family namesake for UOP's Eberhardt School of Business, Eberhardt was named Stocktonian of the Year in 1975 for his involvement in community affairs.
