George Brumm lettered in two years of football at Pacific in 1946 and 1947, playing end on the 1947 team under Larry Siemering that went 10-1 and defeated Wichita State 26-14 in the Raisin Bowl.

Brumm was a 25th-round pick of the Chicago Bears in 1948. Afterwards, Brumm coached football at Franklin High School in Stockton in the 1950s and was awarded the Amos Alonzo Stagg Award of Honor in 1992.
