STOCKTON, Calif. - This coming Thursday and Friday, the University of the Pacific Beach Volleyball team will take part in the WCC Mid-Season Invitational at Main Beach in Sant Cruz, California with four dual matches against conference opponents.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
LMU enters the WCC Mid-Season Invitational at 16-2 overall and ranked no. 5. Most recently, the Lions defeated Vanguard, 5-0 on March 30. Ten of the 16 wins were 5-0 sweeps for LMU and the only losses were to at the respective times when met, top-ranked USC and no. 3 Florida State. Going into the season, LMU was the top-ranked team in the WCC Preseason Coaches Poll and had five members of the team selected to the 2021 All-WCC Preseason Beach Volleyball Team.
SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara has not played a dual match in 2021 as of Wednesday. The Broncos were picked to fourth in the WCC Preseason Coaches Poll.
SCOUTING THE GAELS
SMC enters the tournament at 2-4 overall. The most winning pairs for the Gaels this season is Hawley Harrer and Alexa Parker at 3-1 (2-1 on Court #1) and Morgan Kendrick and Jennifer Laird, also 3-1.
SCOUTING THE DONS
USF played only one match thus far in 2021, which was a 5-0 loss to Saint Mary's on February 27.
