STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific Beach Volleyball Coach Jaida Ward brought back a former player to fill the assistant coaching vacancy, landing on Ashley Davies for the role.

Davies was a member of the beach volleyball program from 2024-25 and also a member of the indoor volleyball team in 2023. Whilst she competed for the Tigers, she primarily appeared on courts two and four.  

"We're thrilled to have Ashley Davies back with the Pacific Beach Volleyball program as a coach. As a former standout student-athlete here, she brings not only a deep understanding of our culture but also a passion and energy that will inspire our team. It's special to have one of our own return to help lead the next class," Ward said.

Davies will make her assistant coaching debut when the team hits the courts on February 21 in a neutral court matchup with San Francisco in Santa Clara, California.
