Biography

2024 (Senior)
Made appearances in 19 matches with partner Jadyn Tubbs playing primarily at fours and fives. Defeated Sacramento State 21-18, 21-18 at the WCC/Big West Challenge.

2023 (Junior)
Appeared in six matches playing primarily between the four and five pairs. Partnered with Joli Ruby and Darina Kumanova in competitions at Santa Clara, Sacramento State, California and Stanford.

2022 (Sophomore)
Appeared in four matches, teaming up with Lucy Carpenter at the #4 flight.

2021 (Freshman)
Emerged late in the season to play four matches and earned a 3-1 record, teaming up with Sammie Sheppard. Had a win over San Francisco and two over Sacramento State.

High School
Makes the short journey to Stockton as a local phenom out of Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, Calif. During her time with the Thunder for indoor volleyball, the 5'8" setter enjoyed a stellar career, including being named the Central California Conference MVP in 2018 after guiding her team to a perfect 12-0 regular-season record and a first-place finish in the CCC. Proved to be a threat every season on the court, also earning CCC Second Team honors in 2017 while being named the team's Offensive Player of the Year. Closing out her senior season in style, Baptista was chosen as the team's Defensive Player of the Year and was selected to the CCC First Team in 2019. In the classroom, she earned a spot on the CCC All-Academic Team all four years at Buhach Colony.
