Berkeley, Calif. - Alex Giannini and Jose Chamba advanced to the Doubles Quarterfinals at the ITA Northwest Regional Saturday in Berkeley, while Giannini and Tadiwa Chinamo each added singles wins.

Seeded fifth in the doubles draw, Giannini & Chamba downed ninth-seeded Enzo Sommer and Kawika Lam of Washington 8-6 to advance to the quarters.

In singles consolation play, Chinamo posted a straight set victory over Max Pham of UC Davis, 6-1, 6-4, while Giannini tallied a victory over Kaspar Zemaitelis of Sacramento State, 6-3, 6-4.

Ross Watson fell in a second-set tiebreaker to Sacramento State's Mikus Losbergs, 6-4, 7-6 (4), and Santa Clara's Andrew Gu topped Lance Ngo, 7-5, 6-4. Nathan Hampton fell 6-4, 6-0, to Gonzaga's Simon Homedes.
