SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The men's tennis program had a tough time getting any momentum going and fell 4-0 to Santa Clara on the road Thursday morning.

The match started on the wrong foot for the Tigers (7-13, 1-3 WCC) after doubles losses on courts one and three. On court two, junior Christof Schaertlin Coffey and freshman Reuben De Klerk held a lead but were unable to finish the match out.

Pacific was unable to course correct during singles and losses on courts two, three and five put the match away in favor of Santa Clara (16-2, 3-0 WCC).

Up next is another road match, this time taking on San Diego. That match is scheduled for noon.
