STOCKTON, Calif. – A 2-0 week playing on doubles court one culminated in men's tennis sophomores Jonty Giesen and Nico Rating receiving their second West Coast Conference Doubles Pair of the Week Award of the season when the conference announced the weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon.

Through three matches of conference play, the duo is undefeated after beating Pepperdine and LMU last weekend. On the season, Giesen and Rating are 4-3 as a pair. Individually, both sophomores have been two of the more consistent doubles performers this season. Giesen is the team leader in doubles wins with nine wins and an 8-5 record on doubles court one. Meanwhile, Rating is 6-9 on the season but 4-4 playing on court one.

The duo will have two opportunities to add to the win column this coming week with road matches against Santa Clara on Thursday and San Diego on Saturday.
