Biography
2016-17 (Senior):
During his final season, Bryan played in eight singles matches with three wins and one going unfinished. Logged wins over Hawai''i, Portland State, and Saint Mary''s. Posted a 3-8 record in doubles play (2-4 in WCC), with two unfinished matches. Was 1-0 when paired with Nathan Hampton and 1-0 when paired with Bryan Husin.
2015-16 (Junior):
Played in five singles matches with one win and one going unfinished. Posted a 4-4 record in doubles play, with two unfinished matches. Picked up two doubles wins over ranked teams while paired with Bernardo Oliveira, over No. 17 Texas Tech (Jan. 15) and No. 53 UC Davis (Jan. 27). Was 1-0 when paired with Sem Verbeek, and 1-0 when paired with Daniel Alameh. His singles’ victory was a 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) decision over Hawai’i (Feb. 4).
2014-15 (Sophomore):
Lance was 7-6 in singles play and 3-3 in doubles competition during his second year at Pacific. He defeated No. 43 Sonoma State''s Sullivan Roche twice throughout the season.
2013-14 (Freshman):
Lance was 4-6 in singles competition for the Tigers in tournaments as a freshman. He was 2-5 in doubles, teaming with Lance Ngo in fall tournaments.
High School:
Lance attended Leland High School in San Jose, Calif. He was the Chargers'' Most Valuable Player in 2012 and 2013 and was voted the Most Improved Player in 2011.
Personal:
Lance is the son of Luan Ngo and Ivy Tonnu. He was born in San Jose, Calif. and currently lives there. In his free time, he enjoys TV, hanging out with friends and reading. Ngo is an exploratory major at Pacific.
