Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team defeated Sacramento State 7-0 on Sunday, Feb. 23. The Tigers improved to 3-5, while Sacramento State dropped to 2-7.
Pacific won the doubles point, with all three doubles teams picking up victories. All six Tiger singles competitors were victorious, with all winning in straight sets except for Ben Mirkin, who won the tiebreaker over Ayman Adbulwahab.
"I'm proud of the way the team responded after a disappointing loss yesterday," said Pacific Men's Tennis Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "We played the same tennis but more professional and disciplined. A step in moving in the right direction towards our goals."
The Tigers are next in action with a road match at Cal Poly on Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m.
