2012-13 (Junior):
Denis had an outstanding first year at Pacific, earning All-Big West Conference Second Team honors ... He led the team with 22 wins on the year, including an outstanding 18-4 mark in dual matches ... Denis played in every singles spot but No. 1 and was 10-2 at No. 3 ... After losing his first two spring matches, he went on an impressive run, winning nine straight and 14 of 15 ... Stolyarov was 15-18 in doubles competition, getting nine wins in dual match competition ... Hisbest partnership was with Sem Verbeek, going 8-4.

2011-12 (Freshman):
Denis attended Pacific, but did not compete in tournaments or dual matches.

Personal: Denis was born in Moscow, Russia ... He is the son of Sergey and Natalia Stolyarov and has a younger sister, Anna ... He is a business major and after graduating he hopes to join the professional tennis circuit ... In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, traveling and spending time with friends.
