STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's and women's tennis programs each had their best academic year in at least two decades as recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) when both teams had a plethora of student-athletes named scholar athletes and were subsequently named ITA All-Academic Teams by the association during their 2026 award announcements on Monday.
To qualify as an ITA scholar athlete, a student-athlete must have finished the 2025-26 academic year with at least a 3.5 GPA and competition eligibility. Meanwhile, at the team level, programs must have a minimum collective 3.2 GPA, all student-athletes listed on the eligibility form, and all letter-winners must have factored into the collective GPA to be named an ITA All-Academic Team.

Within the WCC, Pacific's eight men's representatives topped the conference while the seven women's Tigers recipients tied Saint Mary's for second highest. Â Â Â Â
Both squads will return to competition in the fall ahead of the 2026-27 regular season in the spring.
