Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team has officially announced their schedule for next season.
The Tigers will start the season traveling to Long Beach State on August 18 before returning to Stockton for the home opener against Sacramento State on August 21. Staying local, the Tigers will head to UC Davis on August 25, a team that Pacific defeated 2-1 in a double-overtime exhibition last season.
The Tigers host Oregon State on August 28, a team that won 11 games last season in the Pac-12. The two teams had played before, in 2010, when the Beavers took the win. The Tigers will travel to the Midwest for a showdown with Iowa, a team that won 12 games last season and made it to the second round of the Big 10 tournament.
The rest of the non-conference schedule will be against regional teams, traveling to play Fresno State on September 4 before two home games against Weber State and San Jose State on September 8 and 11. Two away games against Nevada and UC Santa Barbara before coming home to face Santa Clara, a team in the national championship semi-final last season.
Playing Santa Clara back-to-back, the Tigers start WCC play traveling to Santa Clara on October 1 before returning home to host Saint Mary's and last year's national runner-up BYU on October 7.
The Tigers will be on the road against Gonzaga and San Francisco before coming back home on October 22 to face off against Pepperdine. The final road game of the regular season will be when the Tigers travel to Portland to take on the Pilots on October 29.
The season's final two games will come at home, Loyola Marymount will visit the Tigers on November 2, and senior night will be against San Diego on November 5.
Once again, it will be free for fans to attend games at Knoles Field. There will be information about tailgating areas available soon.
