SAN FRANCISCO – Tigers started WCC play against San Francisco. Due to poor weather, the two teams just played singles, still going to four points. The Dons swept the Tigers 4-0 in singles to claim the win. 

Manroop Saini was the first Tiger to drop, losing his match (6-0, 6-3). Peter Alam (6-2, 6-4) and Liam Puttergill (6-1, 6-4) followed with losses before Coby McCaig fell (6-4, 7-5) to give the Dons the win. 

Aleska Mardjonovic and Ran Amar did not finish their matches, but Mardjonovic led (7-6, 2-2) at the stoppage. 

The Tigers continue WCC play with an away match tomorrow against Santa Clara at 1 p.m.
