2024-25 (Graduate)
Went 5-12 on the singles courts, playing the majority of his matches on court three. His singles season was highlighted by a win over nationally-ranked UNLV to help the team defeat the Runnin' Rebels... Reached as high as #36 in the ITA doubles pairs ranking with partner Christof Schaertlin Coffey. Amar played all 15 doubles appearances on court one, 11 with Schaertlin Coffey, and produced a 9-6 record, highlighted by wins over Grand Canyon, South Florida, UC Santa Barbara and Princeton.
2023-24 (Senior)
Recorded a 13-6 singles record playing primarily between the No. 4 and No. 5 positions. Named WCC Player of the Week after maintaining team's eventual 14-match streak, defeating San Francisco on the road. Post 7-8 combined doubles record, playing primarily from court three with partner Christof Schaertlin Coffey. Named WCC All-Academic First Team.Â
2022-23 (Junior)
Named to the WCC All-Conference Singles Second Team. Finished 8-7 in singles matches on the year including 5-2 in conference play. Ended the year 8-3 in doubles match ups, including 7-2 partnered with Terrence Das, with convincing wins against the #70 ranked Gonzaga (6-1), Portland (7-6) and San Francisco (6-1). Received WCC All-Academic First team honors and All-District Academic Team honors, selected as an ITA All-Academic Award winner and named to the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Had an outstanding fall with a 7-5 record, moving up to #120 on the ITA NCAA Division I fall singles rankings. Won seven straight matches in ITA play, capturing the Northwest Regional Tournament title and advancing to the semifinals in the Super Regional.Â
2021-22 (Sophomore)Â
Named to All-WCC Men’s Tennis Honorable Mention Singles. Selected to the WCC All-Academic First Team. Finished 16-4 overall in singles record, 5-1 in conference play. In doubles finished an overall record of 3-2 with partner, Brandon Park. Tallied a 6-1, 6-1 win in singles against Saint Mary’s on April 9. Earned a 6-3, 6-0 win in singles against BYU on April 22. Record a 6-3 win in doubles, competing on the No. 2 lines against San Diego on April 23.Â
