Napa, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team split six matches with Tulsa Saturday at the Silverado Invitational. Sem Verbeek won both his singles and doubles matches for the Tigers.
Verbeek teamed with Miguel Diaz for an 8-5 win over Matthew Kirby and Bechard, while Daniel Alameh and Kumara Pardha Adavelly downed Carlos Bautista and Daniel Santos, 8-6. Pacific is 4-0 in doubles in the tournament with the same tandems sweeping yesterday over Oklahoma State.
In singles action, Verbeek posted a 6-3, 6-0 win over Bechard, while Adavelly fell 7-6 (2), 6-2. Bautista topped Diaz, 6-4, 6-4, and Kirby took a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Alahmeh.
Pacific wraps the Silverado Invitational Sunday at 9 am against Hawai'i.
