Moraga, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team picked up an important 5-2 road win at Saint Mary's on Saturday, April 5. The Tigers improved to 10-9 overall and 3-3 in West Coast Conference play, while Saint Mary's dropped to 7-8 and 2-3 in league play.
"Today was a well fought match on all courts from both sides," Said Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "After a slow start in doubles, the guys responded well in singles, with two guys falling in first sets but fighting their way back. Collectively we improved on some important things we have been working on to get us ready for conference in a couple weeks."
After dropping the doubles matchups, the Tigers picked up five singles victories to claim the match.
The Tigers are next in action with a home match against Pepperdine on Friday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
