Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to San Diego State on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Hal Nelson Tennis Center. The Tigers fell to 2-5, while San Diego State improved to 6-3.
"We had a tough day today," said Pacific Head Coach Ryan Redondo. 'We again gave ourselves the opportunity to win but didn't finish the job. Another lesson learned and this will definitely make us better and ready for tomorrow."
The Tigers won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 by Marlon Brand and Daniel Alameh, and at No. 3 by Erik Cederwall and Alex Hamilton. Denis Stolyarov was the only Tiger to pick up a singles win, with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Pacific is next in action with a home match at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts against Sacramento State on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:00 p.m.
