D'Souza first traveled with the senior national team in 2017 for the UANA Cup in Trinidad and Tobago. He competed at the 2017 FINA World Championships and the 2019 FINA World League Super Final. In 2016, he had been part of the Canadian team that won gold at the Junior Pan American Championships in Edmonton. D'Souza competed at the Youth World Championships in 2016 and the Junior World Championships in 2017.
With the Tigers last season, D'Souza led the team with 46 assists and 100 points in 29 games. The native of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, was named to the GCC All-Tournament team after the Tigers defeated Long Beach State in the championship game.
Djerkovic began training with the senior national team when he was 17. Since then, he has been a member of Team Canada at the 2019 FINA World League Super Final. Prior to that, he guided Canada to winning bronze at the 2017 Youth Pan American Championships and the 2018 Junior Pan American Championships. He was also a member of the Canadian team at the 2017 World Junior Championships.
