Biography

2022 (Senior)
Scored four goals in the Tigers’ win at Brown in early September. He notched three goals against San Jose State on September 19 in the Aggie Invitational Tournament. Scored four against California Baptist on September 17. Scored three against Harvard the following day. Scored a season-high five goals against Long Beach State on September 25. He also had a season-high six drawn exclusions in the game against Long Beach State. Found the back of the net four times in the Tigers’ win against Pepperdine on October 15. He scored three goals in the four final games of Pacific’s regular season against UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara and San Jose State. Had five drawn exclusions in the game against UC Irvine. Djerkovic earned his second straight first-team selection and is tied for second in the GCC with 55 goals. He is second in the conference in goals-per-game, averaging 2.2 goals in 25 played games. Scored four goals in the GCC semifinal game on November 19. Had four drawn exclusions in the GCC semifinal game. Named to the GCC All-Tournament team and named GCC tournament MVP. Scored four goals in the GCC championship game. Earned six drawn exclusions in the Tigers’ opening-round game of the NCAA Tournament. Earned five drawn exclusions in the NCAA semifinal game against Cal. Named to the NCAA All-Tournament Second-Team.

2021 (Junior) 
Earned a honorable mention on the 2021 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Division I All-America Team. Named to the GCC All-Conference First Team. Played in all 22 games for the Tigers, recording 50 goals, two assists, 10 steals and seven field blocks. Recorded five goals and two steals on October 29 against #5 Long Beach State. Earned five points against #14 UC Irvine with four goals and one assist on November 6. 

2020 (Junior) 
Team opted out of 2020 season

2019 (Sophomore)
Competed in every game for Pacific with 20 goals and three assists, adding eight drawn exclusions, five steals and three field blocks on the defensive end. Recorded four multi-goal games on the season, breaking out for a career-high five of his 10 goals at the Aggie Roundup against Austin College on an efficient six shots (9/20). Recorded a hat trick on Senior Day against UC Irvine (11/9). Scored in the Golden Coast Conference tournament against Long Beach State (11/23) and in the national championship against Stanford (12/8). 

2018 (Freshman)
Djerkovic excelled in his first year with the Tigers, suiting up in all 24 games for the Orange and Black with 20 goals, five assists and nine field blocks en route to being named to the All-GCC Freshman Team. Scored his first collegiate goal in UOP's season opener against Brown (9/1). Also registered three goals at No. 3 Cal (9/15). Enjoyed a six-game scoring streak with six overall multi-goal games. Provided multiple power play opportunities at the center position, ranking second on the team with 28 drawn exclusions.

High School / International
A member of the Canadian Senior National team, Djerkovic played in the FINA World Men''s Junior Water Polo Championship as well as the Pan American Championship held this past year. 

Personal 
Son of Miladin and Jovanka. Djerkovic is majoring in mechanical engineering.
