STOCKTON, Calif.—After earning its first West Coast Conference victory of the season, Pacific women's soccer (7-6-1, 1-2 WCC) returns to Knoles Field for Homecoming and Family weekend. The Tigers will host a rematch with No. 14 Santa Clara at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Juliana Alexander got her first shutout in conference play and second overall of her career.
The Tigers' scoring offense is ranked 72nd in the country. Pacific is 65th in total goals (26) and 80th in total points (71).
Fifth-year senior
Jaida Nyby leads the team in scoring with 16 points on seven goals and two assists. The Eugene, Ore. native is ranked fifth in goals and sixth in points in the WCC. Nationally, Nyby ranks 78th in goals per game (0.5) and 89th in total points.
Sophomore
Alexis Pashales is the second-leading scorer with 14 points on six goals and two assists. The Las Vegas, Nev. native notched her last goal at Pepperdine on Oct. 4. Sophomore
Anaya Shelton and fifth-year senior
Lauren Frohan have tallied 11 points and 10 points, respectively. Each of their eight came in goals scored.
Pacific recently made a change in the net, starting Alexander in the last two contests. The Bakersfield, Calif. native made her first start since the Tigers' contest against Nevada on Aug. 20, 2021. Alexander saw action in the second half in the 3-1 victory against Southern Utah. She has collected 11 saves while registering one shutout.
In the last meeting between Pacific and Santa Clara, the Broncos dominated the contest with a 6-0 win. The Tigers were outshot 24-7 including 11-3 on target.
Pacific last hosted Santa Clara at Knoles Field during the 2022 season. The Tigers won the contest on a 2-0 shutout. Shelton scored the second goal in the 54th minute.
The Broncos started WCC play with a 2-0 record, earning shutout victories against Pepperdine and Saint Mary's. Santa Clara is second in goals (28), assists (34) and points (90) in the league. In national rankings, the Broncos are 14
th in assists per game (2.6) and 16
th in total assists.
Farrah Walters leads the Broncos with 18 points on eight goals and two assists. Her total goals are third in the league and 37th nationally. Sally Menti has dished out five of Santa Clara's assists which is fifth in the conference and 69th in the country.
Following Homecoming weekend, Pacific hosts Gonzaga for its Family, Pink and Alumni Night at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
