Final Road Trip of the Season Takes Tigers North

STOCKTON, Calif. – After a midweek, non-conference win, the Tigers are heading back to WCC play as they travel up north, taking on Gonzaga and Portland over the weekend.

The team moved their singles matchups around with great success in the Tiger's win. Peter Alam won his first match of the season in the number one position, and Ran Amar won his first match of the season at the number two position in the Tiger's win over UC Riverside.

Brandon Park continued his strong season as well, as he is 5-3 overall in singles this season and 4-2 in the fourth spot.

The Tigers defeated UC Riverside in large part to winning the doubles point and will look to do the same against Gonzaga and Portland.

This season, Gonzaga is 15-4 and 4-2 in WCC play. The Bulldogs had won eight straight matches before falling to Pepperdine last weekend.

Overall, the Pilots are 7-9 this season but are 3-3 in WCC play. Portland had won three straight WCC matches before falling to Pepperdine last weekend.
