Tigers Host Pepperdine and LMU

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Tigers are hosting two southern California schools, including a Pepperdine program that was in the NCAA championships last year.

The Tigers were only home once in March and are ready to be back at the Eve Zimmerman Center. The Tigers will have live video streams of all six courts for both matches this weekend for the first time in Pacific history.

The Tigers are led by Ran Amar, who is 11-3 on the season and is 8-1 over his last 10 singles matches. Peter Alam has also had a solid season, sitting at 5-6 in singles but is 5-3 over his last 10 matches.

#20 Pepperdine has won three of its past four matches, including top 50 wins over Penn and Harvard. The Tigers last defeated the Waves in 2018 at home 4-2.

Loyola Marymount has won two of its past three matches. The only loss came to Pepperdine. This season, the Lions have wins over San Diego State, DePaul, and Dartmouth. The Tigers have not defeated the Lions since 2015.
