Box Score GLENDORA, Calif. – The Pacific Women's Water Polo team opened conference play Saturday morning with a commanding 16-7 win over Azusa Pacific.
"It was great to go on the road and get our first conference win," said Head Coach
James Graham. "We were able to capitalize on some momentum and get a winning streak going. We were able to get a lot of athletes in the water with playing time, which is a great thing."

In a rare occurrence, redshirt junior goalkeeper
Clara Vulpisi also scored a goal for the Tigers. With a couple of seconds left in the second quarter, the Cougars pulled their goalie forward and attempted a seven-on-six goal. Vulpisi made the save and launched the ball the length of the pool, scoring with one second left in the quarter.

Ana Martinez do Amaral had one assist for the Tigers. Davis provided three assists. Futorian also gave an assist for a Tiger goal.
