Biography

2022 (Senior)
Earned GCC All-Academic honors. Played in all 25 games earning 19 goals, nine assists and eight steals. Recorded a total of 28 points. Scored three goals against Biola on February 19. Tallied two steals on March 20 against Redlands. 

2021 (Junior)
Played in all 15 games in the 2021 season. Ranked 8th in conference for goals (28), recording 36 points. Racked up 10 steals while also placing 6th in the conference for sprint wins (11) and sprint win percentage (.611). Scored against no. 7 Michigan (4/6). Netted two goals in the second period, in the second game to keep the Tigers on top (11-4) against Austin College (3/14). Scored three goals in the third period against Concordia-Irvine (3/19). Scored twice in the third against LMU (4/17). 

2020 (Sophomore)
Played in all 16 games for Pacific with 17 goals and four assists. Ranked third on the team with 10 steals. 

2019 (Freshman)
Suited up and played in all but two matches her first year with the Tigers. Provided a spark with the second unit, finishing the season with eight goals, four assists and 10 steals. Scored her first collegiate goal in the Stanford Classic against No. 4 Cal (2/2). Tallied multi-goal games against St. Francis PA (3/2) and Concordia (4/26), along with two goals and two assists in Pacific's first-round GCC matchup with Concordia (4/26). Tallied a goal in the NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship first round match against No. 1 Stanford (5/10).

High School
A member of the Brazilian national water polo team, Martinez do Amaral helped her country to the 2014 Women's Water Polo World Championship title in Budabest. Also earned two first-place finished with the U16 and U17 teams at the 2016 and 2017 South American Games. Also spent time in Spain competing in the Spanish Championship and Catalan Championships in 2016. The São Paulo native was the top scorer in the Brazilian Championships in 2013 and 2014, the top scorer in the 2016 South American games in Colombia and was named an All-Star during the 2017 U17 Brazilian Championships.

Personal 
Daughter of Ana and Paulo. Has one sibling, Ana. Martinez do Amaral is majoring in business administration with a double concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship.
