STOCKTON, Calif. – The Golden Coast Conference announced its 2026 postseason awards and junior
Laia Marsinach Ortega was named to the All-Conference Second-Team, junior
Ella Cowan earned All-Conference Honorable Mention and freshmen
Eleni Ikonomou was both an All-Conference Honorable Mention and on the All-Freshmen Team.

It came after the Tigers ended the regular season ranked No. 20 in the nation with a 10-9 overall record. Pacific will entered the conference tournament this weekend as the No. 5 seed.

Ortega, from Barcelona, Spain, led the team in goals with 42 and steals with 19. She scored in 18 of 19 games with six matches of at least a hat trick. It included a career-high six goals in a win over San Jose State. Ortega is in her first season with the team after transferring from Azusa Pacific.

Cowan, from Alberta Canada, led the squad in assists for the second consecutive season with 26. She tallied 21 goals and was the team's leading sprinter by winning 21 times. Cowan submitted a hat trick against San Diego State and dished out a season-high five assists in a victory over SJSU.

Ikonomou, from Athens, Greece, tallied 23 goals and 24 assists in her first collegiate season. She turned in three games of at least three goals including a season-high four against Cal Baptist. She distributed three assists in four different games.

Ikonomou becomes the fourth student-athlete on the current roster to be named to the All-Freshmen team after
Maja Lizy Dulic was distinguished in 2024, and both
Alicia Petkov and
Dora Alaksza in 2023.

The trio and the Tigers will begin postseason play Friday when they square off with fourth-seeded CBU at 2 p.m. in the conference tournament hosted by Fresno State.
