BERKELEY, Calif. - The University of the Pacific women's tennis advanced one doubles team to the consolation finals and another to the semifinals at the Cal Invite. On the singles side, Pacific had an individual reach the consolation final.

On the singles side, freshman
Megan Carmichael reached the Gold Division consolation final. After an opening round loss to Carly Schwarberg of UC Davis, Carmichael was victorious in the round of 16 by a 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 margin.Â

Teammate junior
Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle reached the round of 16 before losing. She was a 6-4, 6-4 winner of her opening round matchup.

The doubles duo of freshman

Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle reached the finals, losing by an 8-5 margin to Bente/LaMette of Cal Poly. To get to the finals, they were victorious 8-2 in the semifinals and winners in the quarterfinals over Luneva/Moll of Nevada.Â

Danielle Zamora bounced back from a first round loss to reach the consolation finals of the ITA White Division. The first round loss was by an 8-7 (10-4) margin and the duo came back with an 8-0 convincing win in the semifinals.
In the ITA White Singles Division, freshman
Cindy Ung reached the semifinals with a pair of victories. Her first win was by injury default over the No. 4 seed and a 6-3, 6-2 win in the quarterfinals. Teammate junior
Danielle Zamora reached the quarterfinals before losing her match.Â

The other Tiger to reach the semifinals was freshman
Mia-Angelina Ruja, who overcame a first round loss to the No. 5 seed from Cal. She started her run to the semifinals with a 6-4, 6-4 win in the round of 16 and followed that up with a 7-6 (10-6), 6-4 win in the quarterfinals.
Next, Pacific will face many of its West Coast Conference competitors at the Saint Mary's Invite on Saturday, October 1.Â
