STOCKTON, Calif. – For the second time in as many seasons, Pacific women's tennis received the ITA's Northwest Region Community Service Award – recognizing the program's efforts to better the Pacific and Stockton communities.

Over the course of the 2025-26 year, the team was involved in such projects as Special Olympics Pickleball, Edible School Project, Rotary Read In, Community Trick or Treat, Community Garden, Math Steeplechase, Eco Education and Middle School College Day.

"With Community Engagement being a core value of the University of the Pacific, our team strives to do our part to give back to members of our community," Head Coach Mary Beth Gunn said. "I am proud that our ladies engage in our community service events with the goal of serving others with a humble heart. It really helps us see the bigger picture and step outside of our bubble of everyday campus life."

Gunn's squad returns to the courts in the fall ahead of the regular season in spring 2027.
