FRESNO, Calif. – The Pacific men's tennis team (1-10) participated in the Pacific Central Valley Championship at Fresno State, falling to Wichita State in the quarterfinal round and Hawaii in the consolation bracket.
 
Wichita State 4, Pacific 0

• Nathan Hampton showed resilience on three with a 6-1 win in the second set after dropping the first 4-6 in a hard-fought contest.
• John Horoz Garner took advantage on two with a 6-4 win, then found himself close to the win at 5-3 when the match concluded unfinished.

• Freshman duo Manroop Saini and Coby McCaig brought their match to 3-3 before having it concluded unfinished.
• Hampton and Horoz Garner battled on two in doubles, coming close to the win at 4-6.
• Akram El Sallaly came back to force a third set on one with a 6-2 win in set two.
• Hampton battled in a tough second set on three in singles play, falling 6-7.
