STOCKTON, Calif. - 

The Tigers got off to a good start as freshman Talli Shepherd led the inning off with a single and advanced to second on a throwing error for a base-clearing double. After a groundout single by Hailey Reed which moved Shepherd to third base, the Shepherd scored off of a wild pitch putting the Tigers' first points up on the board, 1-0.

Northern Colorado responded with a run of their own in the top of the second, as Madi Schmidt doubled to left center bringing home two runs for the Bears.
