STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers are back in action for the fourth time in three days, taking on Middle Tennessee State Monday afternoon at 1:00 pm at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. The Tigers played USF, Fresno State, and Cal Poly over the last three days, going 1-2.
Alex Giannini was undefeated this week, going 2-0 with an unfinished match over the three matches. Giannini won against USF 7-6, 6-2, against Fresno State 6-0, 6-2, and led 6-2, 3-6, 5-3 against Cal Poly before the match was called.
Miguel Diaz went 2-1 this last week, defeating the number one player from San Francisco and Fresno State before falling to Cal Poly. That loss was Diaz's first in his last seven matches and puts him at 7-3 overall.
Bernardo Oliveira got his first singles action of the year this weekend and went 1-2. Oliveira's win came against USF, where he won 7-6, 6-3.
Pacific will next host San Francisco this Saturday at 1:00 pm.
