Moraga, Calif. - Sabrina Rodriguez picked up a singles win, but her doubles run in Flight B came to an end in the semifinals Saturday at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational.

Rodriguez was paired with Cal Poly's Claire Bouquet and after Friday's upset over the second-seeded duo in the quarterfinals, the the unconventional pairing was topped in the semifinals of the Doubles B Flight by Santa Clara's Zeina El Tawil and Caitlyn Frankel on Saturday, 8-4.

In consolation doubles, Mayaan Sela and Cristina Saenz de Buruaga Ruiz fell to Kareena A. Manji and Danielle McIntyre of Saint Mary's, 8-3.

In round robin singles play, Rodriguez picked up a straight-set win over Caraline Patterson of Santa Clara, 6-2, 6-1.

Saenz de Buruaga Ruiz battled Ilana Oleynik of Cal Poly to a tie-breaker, but fell 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (8). Susanne Boyden of Cal Poly topped Sela, 6-3, 6-2.
