Adair, Smith Named Women's Water Polo All-Americans

Stockton, Calif. - Pacific women's water polo athletes Taylor Adair and Gracie Smith each earned Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America honors Monday.

Each earned honorable mention distinction from the ACWPC.

Adair, a junior utility player led Pacific in scoring most of the regular season before finishing with 62 goals on the year in 31 games. She scored in 26 of 31 contests with 22 multi-goal matches. She tallied a season-high five goals against Brown, and added four-goal games against Hartwick, San Jose State and UC San Diego, while posting five three-goal games.

Smith, a sophomore two-meter specialist, scored nine goals in three games at the inaugural Golden Coast Conference tournament to finish with 64 goals in 31 games. She hit the back of the net in 25 of 31 contests with 19 multi-goal games.

The duo helped Pacific place third in the GCC tournament this season, finishing the year at 14-17 overall.
