Honolulu, Hawai'i - On its first day of competition, the Pacific Softball team fell, 5-2, to the California Golden Bears. The Tigers fell to 6-9 with the loss while Cal improved to 8-7 with the win.

In the second game of the night, Pacific jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first two innings against Hawai'i starter Loi Kesterson.
