Spokane, Wash. - The Pacific men's tennis team defeated Gonzaga 6-1 on Thursday, March 27 at the Stevens Center. The Tigers improved to 8-8 and 2-2 in West Coast Conference play, while Gonzaga fell to 9-7 and 0-3 in WCC play.
"A great way to begin a conference road trip," said Pacific Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "Gonzaga came out and started strong in doubles and the Tigers weathered them well. We then quickly seized the opportunity to play very disciplined, aggressive tennis."
Pacific swept the doubles matches, while the Tigers had wins at No. 2-6 singles.
The Tigers are next in action with a road match at Portland on Saturday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m.
