Senior Jenifer Widjaja has been recognized as the Big West Tennis Athlete of the Week for her impressive play out on the court.  In this past week, Jenifer Widjaja faced No. 42 Long Beach State product Anais Dallara, as well as Nevada's Florence De Vrye; and in both her matches she confidently beat her opponents 6-3, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively.  In her doubles events, Widjaja and partner Julia Hansen defeated both teams they faced with confident scores of 8-4, and 8-1.

In addition to her undefeated week, Jenifer has accumulated a Spring singles record of 14-4 and a doubles record of 15-3 with partner Hansen.  Overall Jenifer Widjaja is looking at an overall year record of 24-9 and 18-6; which is a 72.7% winning percentage in singles and a 75% in doubles.  With these percentages and effective strategy out on the court, Jenifer Widjaja has earned the honor of Big West Tennis Athlete of the week for the second time in one season.
