Stanford, Calif. - Senior Jenifer Widjaja displayed skill throughout the competition becoming Pacific's first ever female to reach the semifinals round at the USTA ITA Nortwest Regionals. She experienced her share of challenges, but none too great for Jenifer to handle until she was matched up against Stanford product, Kristie Ahn, the tournament's 3rd seed. This particular match brought about several challenges, ones that Widjaja came up just short of conquering. She suffered a back injury, but continued to play and fight through the pain while being faced by her toughest opponent yet. At the end of the second set, Jenifer Widjaja came up short with a two set score of 6-2, 6-1.
